The Manager of Supply Chain is responsible for building and leading a high-performing supply chain organization across two manufacturing plants. This leader oversees strategic procurement, operational purchasing, and supplier performance. The role isaccountable for reducing material costs, improving supplier quality, lowering inventory levels, and eliminating part shortages that impact production.
The position is ideal for a strategic and hands-on, lean management systems-oriented leader. The position requires a leader who can drive strategic category management and supplier performance while also leading an operational team that is responsible for strengthening foundational processes such as establishing material replenishment methods, implementing procurement SOPs, and optimizing inventory levels.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing supply chain, procurement, or materials management
- Experience in industrial equipment, capital equipment, machining, fabrication, or similar industries.
- Demonstrated success reducing costs, improving inventory performance, and developing suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills (spend analysis, cost modeling, inventory modeling).
